Full description
Experience one of the most meaningful landmarks in New York City with a visit to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. Your pre-booked timed ticket allows for smooth, contactless entry, giving you more time to explore and reflect.
Along with the museum, you will have complimentary access to the 9/11 Memorial, the Survivor Tree, and the Memorial Glades, honoring all who were affected by the tragic events.
The museum houses more than 10,000 artifacts that tell the story of September 11, 2001. Its permanent exhibitions are divided into three sections:
The Historical Exhibition offers a detailed account of the events before, during, and after September 11. Learn about the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and the courageous story of Flight 93.
The Memorial Exhibition, "In Memoriam", pays tribute to the nearly 3,000 victims from the 2001 and 1993 attacks, sharing their personal stories, photos, and legacies.
The Foundation Hall is an immense, emotionally powerful space that features the final steel column removed from Ground Zero and the original slurry wall that held back the Hudson River during the recovery efforts.
The National September 11 Memorial is a solemn and moving tribute to the lives lost in both the 2001 and 1993 World Trade Center attacks.
At the center of the memorial are two large reflecting pools, each nearly an acre in size, surrounded by the largest manmade waterfalls in North America. The names of every victim are inscribed on bronze panels surrounding the pools, creating a lasting space of remembrance and peace.
As you walk through the memorial grounds, take a moment to see the Survivor Tree, a pear tree that endured the devastation of 9/11 and continues to grow as a living symbol of hope.
